Wrenchlist

Office plus truck, one shared picture

Field service software for small business, built around the day list

Field service lives or dies on handoffs between the person scheduling and the person in the van. Wrenchlist makes that handoff a single record: the job, the address, the notes and the deadline, readable on a phone.

Free to start. No card, no account.

Made for the phone in a truck cab

A field service scheduling app that stays out of the way

On a phone the work orders list becomes a stack of cards: job, customer, status, priority and due date. A technician opens a card, reads the notes you wrote (gate codes, parts, who to ask for) and moves the job to In progress.

There's no install, no login to fumble with at a customer's door, and no feature maze. That's deliberate.

  • Responsive cards on mobile, a table on desktop
  • Large tap targets and readable status colours
  • Dark mode for early starts and late finishes

What dispatchers get

  • Live status of the day

Open, in progress, overdue and done counts show how the day is going without calling anyone.

  • Who has what

Per-technician workload makes it obvious who can take the emergency call.

  • Address on the job

Location is a first-class field, searchable, and printed on the PDF.

  • No app store

It runs in any current browser. Add it to your home screen if you want an icon.

About the field features we haven't built

Real-time GPS, automatic customer texts, route optimisation and card payments are the heavy parts of larger field service platforms. We haven't built them, and pretending otherwise would waste your time. If those are must-haves for you, a full platform is the right call, and the ServiceTitan and Jobber comparisons lay out the trade-offs.

If what you need is a dependable job list that technicians and the office both trust, you're in the right place.

Questions people actually ask

What is field service software?

Software for businesses that send people to customers' locations: scheduling, dispatching, job details and completion records. Small businesses often need only the first few.

Is there a mobile app?

There's a responsive web app that works on phones. It isn't in the app stores.

Can technicians see only their own jobs?

They can filter the list by their name. True per-user logins and permissions would come with the cloud version.

Does it track technician location?

No. We chose not to collect location data.

Give your crew a day list they'll use

Open the app on your phone and see how a work order reads in the field.
