An honest comparison
A Jobber alternative for crews who only need work orders
Jobber is a capable all-in-one for home service businesses: quoting, scheduling, invoicing and payments. If you use most of that, stay. If you opened it for the job list and rarely touch the rest, a lighter tool might fit better.
Free to start. No card, no account.

Why a smaller tool can be the right one
Reasons crews pick a lighter option
You use a third of the suite
If invoicing already lives in QuickBooks and you only wanted the job board, you're paying for modules you don't open.
You want it live today
No client import, no service catalogue to configure. You can have a working job list in minutes.
You'd rather not add per-user costs
Free covers two technicians and Pro isn't priced per seat, which keeps costs flat as you add helpers.
When Jobber is the better answer
If you want customers to approve quotes online, pay invoices by card and receive automatic appointment reminders, Jobber covers that and we don't. The same goes if several people need to work in a shared, synced account today. Our cloud sync isn't live yet, so you shouldn't switch to us for that.
Plenty of crews run a hybrid: a lightweight work order list for operations and their existing accounting tool for money. That's the case we're built for.
Questions people actually ask
Is Wrenchlist a full replacement for Jobber?
No. It covers work orders, assignment and tracking. It doesn't cover quoting, invoicing, online payments or a client portal.
Can I import my Jobber jobs?
There's no direct importer. You can add current jobs by hand, which is quick for a short list.
Why would I choose the lighter tool?
Lower cost, no setup and a cleaner screen for crews that only needed the job list.
Are you affiliated with Jobber?
No. Jobber is a trademark of its owner. This page compares publicly described features and may be out of date.
