What this simple work order app does
It's a working app, not a screenshot. Everything you add is saved in your browser.
Create and edit work orders
Open the slide-over sheet with the New button or the N key, fill in the job and save. Click any row to edit it.
Dashboard counts
Open, in progress, overdue and completed-this-week update as you work. Click a card to filter the list.
Search and filters
Narrow the table by status, technician and priority, or search for a customer, address or job number.
How the data is stored
Everything lives in your browser's local storage. Close the tab and reopen it, and your jobs are still there. Use a different browser or device and you'll see a fresh demo workspace instead, because nothing is uploaded or synced.
The demo comes with five sample jobs and four technicians so you can see how a busy board looks. Use Reset demo data in Plan & data to restore them whenever you like.
Pro features, previewed
PDF export, customer signatures, job photos, CSV export, recurring jobs and more than two technicians show an upgrade prompt. If you have a license key, unlock them from Plan & data.
Keyboard shortcut
Press N anywhere outside a text field to start a new work order.
Questions people actually ask
Do I have to sign up to use the work order app?
No. There's no login. The app opens with sample data you can edit or delete.
Will I lose my work orders?
They're saved in this browser until you clear site data. Export a CSV (Pro) as a backup, or print the ones you need.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. On small screens the table becomes cards and the navigation moves to the top of the app.
Is there a simple work order app for a team?
Team sharing needs cloud storage, which is planned for the Team plan. Today each browser has its own data.
