What is work order software?
Software for creating, assigning, tracking and closing the jobs a crew has to do. Each work order records the customer, location, what needs doing, who's responsible and when it's due.
Who is WorkOrder Software for?
Small contractors, trades and maintenance teams of roughly one to ten people, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, handyman and property maintenance.
Do I need to sign up?
Yes, with an email and password or a Google account. Your work orders, customers and invoices are saved to your account in a database, so they follow you from your phone to your desk. Free needs no card.
What does it cost?
Free covers unlimited work orders and customers, two technicians and three invoices. Pro is $19 a month, or $99 once during early-bird. There's no card for Free and you can cancel Pro any time.
Is it work order management software for teams?
Today one account runs the whole workspace: the owner or dispatcher assigns jobs and technicians are tracked as crew. Multi-user logins for office and field staff are in development and are the reason Team is marked early access.
What can't it do yet?
Separate logins for each technician, online card payments on invoices, and automatic SMS or email to customers aren't built yet. If you need those today, a larger field service platform is the better fit.
