What you get
A record of the visit, not a dot on a live map
Check in and out
Location and time are captured when the button is pressed. Nothing is tracked in the background.
Time on the job
The visit duration feeds the job's time tracking, ready to bill as labor.
Photos and signatures
Add before and after photos and a customer signature to the same job.
It lands on the invoice
Tracked time and the visit record are there when you create the invoice.
Privacy and limits
Straight answers about location
The browser asks the technician for permission, and the app only reads the location when they tap a GPS button. We don't follow anyone between jobs, and there's no live fleet view. Accuracy depends on the phone and signal, and it won't work if location access is denied.
GPS check-in is a Pro feature. Today the check-in is recorded on the owner's account, because separate technician logins are still in development.
Questions people actually ask
Is this live GPS tracking?
No. It's check-in and check-out, a location stamp when the technician presses the button. There's no continuous tracking.
Do technicians need to install an app?
No. It runs in the phone's browser and can be added to the home screen. They do need to allow location when asked.
Which plan includes it?
GPS check-in is part of Pro.
